April Pitts is a graduate of Texas Wesleyan School of Law where she earned her J.D. in May 2006. Ms. Pitts served as assistant county attorney in Rains County, Texas from 2006 until 2008, handling felony, misdemeanor, and cases involving child protective services. Ms. Pitts joined Texas A&M University – Commerce in 2008 as the Academic Director and Assistant Professor of Paralegal Studies. She also serves as the pre-law and paralegal studies advisor.
