Student Government Association
Greetings:
Welcome to the Texas A&M University-Commerce’s Student Government website! Student Government's purpose is to serve as a channel of communication with the faculty and administration of Texas A&M University-Commerce. We collect concerns and ideas from the students and present them to the Administration and Faculty. Senate also meets with the respective Deans and Directors when issues arise to find out the origin of it. From there we work with students and administration to try to reach a final solution both parties can agree on. Student Government continues to strive for excellence in that we have the following goals to help better serve the students.
Our goals for this year include: Become more visible in Branding & Involvement for Students, Take part in events for Students & Community, and Increase diversity within Senate to reach a full sitting Senate.
Feel free to come to our meetings every Wednesday night at 6pm in the Student Center. If you have any suggestions or questions don’t hesitate to send us an e-mail or come by our SGA office on the 2nd Floor of the Sam Rayburn Student Center!
