Funding Your Future
This renewable $250 or $500 grant is open to new graduate students who graduate from a university in Texas with a bachelor's degree in Spring 2023 and begin graduate coursework in Summer or Fall 2023.
Qualification Requirements
You must have participated in a TRiO program, and enrolled in courses by June 5, 2023 for summer I, July 10, 2023 for summer II, or August 28, 2023 for fall 2023.
- Must be a NEW graduate student at East Texas A&M.
- Submit the form on this page.
- Submit a letter of endorsement from your TRiO program coordinator.
- Apply to a graduate program at East Texas A&M (apply through ApplyTexas) and gain full or conditional admission.
- Complete and submit the TRiO Grant Application Form
- Enroll in at least three hours of graduate coursework no later than the first class day of the semester.
Award Values Based on Credit Hours
- Students enrolled in 3 to 5 graduate hours by the first day of the semester are eligible to receive a $250 grant.
- Students enrolled in 6 or more graduate hours are eligible to receive a $500 grant.
Renewal
The TRiO Grant is renewable on a semester-by-semester basis, if continuously enrolled, while funds are available. Grant awarding will occur after the 12th class day of the semester. Funding will be provided until funds are depleted. Not every applicant will necessarily receive an award.
