Texas A&M University-Commerce Regents Professor Dr. Srinivas Nippani was published in a recent issue of American Banker magazine. Nippani’s piece titled “Recent bank failures point to the need for a ‘conduct risk’ authority in the U.S.” asserts that more regulation of banks is needed due to recent high-profile failures such as Silicon Valley Bank. Nippani was named a Regents Professor by the Texas A&M University System in 2015, and has taught in the A&M-Commerce College of Business since 2002. Read the American Banker article.
