Texas A&M System Partners with JED Foundation in Support of Mental Health
A recent article on MyAggieNation.com announced that The Texas A&M University System has partnered with the JED Foundation across its 11 universities. The multiyear collaboration is aimed at supporting students' mental health.
The article explains that the JED program helps schools assess their on-campus resources and programs for mental health and substance misuse. After the assessment, JED experts provide feedback to help schools more effectively promote mental health and prevent substance abuse and suicide among students.
The article mentions that the “JED Campus program already has been undertaken and completed at A&M-Commerce.” A&M-Commerce launched its partnership with the JED program in 2018.
