As an HR specialist, Crystle brings wellness opportunities to university employees. She believes that when faculty and staff feel their best, they can give their best to the students they serve. When she has time, Crystle enjoys winding down with a good book, a fishing pole, lake time or all three!

How Can I Help You?

When employees feel well, they are better equipped to give their best to our students. If you work at A&M-Commerce, I am here to help connect you to wellness opportunities that enhance your work/life balance.

A Conversation with Crystle

What would you tell a student who is thinking about attending A&M-Commerce?

A&M-Commerce cares about all students. The moment you set foot on campus, you will feel the Lion family atmosphere. As a member of the Lion family, you will have access to a huge network of Lions who will help you navigate college and life after graduation.

What do you like most about your role here at A&M-Commerce?

I love bringing wellness opportunities to our faculty and staff members. Most of all, I love seeing our students accomplishing their dreams!

Do you have family connections to A&M-Commerce?

I was born and raised right down the street from A&M-Commerce in Campbell, Texas. My grandmother, Mae McIlveene, retired from East Texas State University, so I grew up hearing stories from her time here at the university. She always told her grandkids what a privilege it was to work at such a great university.

Tell us about your education journey.

I received my bachelor's degree from A&M-Commerce in 2011, and I then set off to Dallas to gain experience in the field of human resources. In 2019, I finally found my way back to the Lion family when I secured a position in Human Resources at A&M-Commerce.

What are your favorite hobbies?

My hobbies include spending time with my family, reading, ranching, fishing and camping. If I had to describe a favorite activity, it would be spending time at the lake with my family!
