I thrive on getting to see my students experience the ‘ah-ha' moments in class. Watching a student grow from struggling with a concept to being able to explain it to their peers is magical.

Getting a degree from a university in the United States was my dream. I had the odds stacked against me, but I never stopped dreaming and working hard to accomplish that goal.

My laboratory focus is on discovering practical solutions to modern quail and grassland bird problems and educating students to become leaders in the wildlife field.

What brings me the most joy and pride is seeing and hearing about the successes of our students. Whether it is starting their own businesses, being successful in graduate school, or receiving an industry award, their success always reminds me of the reason I was called to this profession.

One of my favorite things to tell my students is ‘by the time you finish this course, you won't be able to look at anything the same way again!’

My passion is helping others be successful. Marketing is a blend of creative and analytical skills. I am working toward a career with non-profits where I can apply what I have learned in the College of Business.
