Phi Beta Sigma and Zeta Phi Beta Housing Fund
Transforming Futures
Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. at East Texas A&M University are continuing their long tradition of service and dedication by establishing a housing fund for students. By providing housing support, they’re not only enhancing students’ educational experiences but also fostering a sense of community and support on campus.
Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. was founded in 1914. Their motto, “Culture for Service and Service for Humanity,” is at the fraternity's core. The HellaciouZ Eta Zeta chapter was chartered at East Texas A&M on October 13, 1975. The fraternity’s mission is to promote brotherhood, scholarship and service.
The sister sorority, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. , was founded on January 16, 1920. The sorority's motto is “a community-conscious, action-oriented organization.” The Amazing Alpha Epsilon chapter was established at East Texas A&M on February 10, 1973. Their mission—to foster the ideals of service, charity, scholarship, civic and cultural endeavors, sisterhood, and finer womanhood—is as strong today as it was in the beginning.
Their continuing dedication to service exemplifies their commitment to being the change within the community and an inspiration for others to follow suit.
Thank you for your support!
These brothers and sisters, dubbed “Dove Love,” remain steadfast in their support of future generations of Greeks who are following in their footsteps. This fund will help transform the lives of future students, and if we reach our goal of $25,000, the fund will become an endowment, creating a lasting legacy of service to the Lion student community.
*If we are unable to reach our goal, the funds raised will be used as direct support as a housing fund for students in Phi Beta Sigma and Zeta Phi Beta at East Texas A&M.
