What happens after dual credit students are admitted?
- Students should receive an email with their official acceptance into the dual credit program. This email will include their campus-wide ID number (CWID).
- Periodically, a report showing the status of new applications to the dual credit program, including students’ CWIDs, will be sent to high school counselors. If you don’t receive this report, please contact our office to request it.
How do students submit their high school transcripts?
- Please encourage your students to submit their high school transcripts as soon as they submit their applications. They will not be admitted to East Texas A&M until this step is completed. Please do not wait for our office to send you a list of students with incomplete dual credit applications.
- If any of your students have taken dual credit courses at another college, please remind them to submit those transcripts to East Texas A&M. Those transcripts will include their TSI status and can indicate whether they have met the prerequisites for courses they want to take at East Texas A&M.
- High school or college transcripts need to be sent to the East Texas A&M admissions office, either electronically (via TREX, Parchment, Greenlight, etc…) or by mail at: East Texas A&M University, Office of Undergraduate Admissions, P.O. Box 3011, Commerce, Texas 75429-3011
