Study Abroad with the Office of International Programs
Transforming Futures
Short-term travel abroad opportunities through the Office of International Programs (OIP) are a first-in-a-lifetime experience for many undergraduate and graduate students. Through immersive learning, students can glean valuable insights and develop intercultural skills for success in an interconnected world.
In 2024, students will say “konnichiwa” to Japan! On behalf of ETAMU, student participants will present an origami art hanging to the Hiroshima Children's Peace Memorial. During the trip, students will learn about the history and restoration of Hiroshima, the resilience of Japan, the intertwining of history with modern innovation, and the Japanese philosophy of continuous improvement, known as “Kaizan.”
Thank you for your support!
Your contribution will help students cover expenses for educational field trips, air and ground transport, accommodations, and other essentials. Together with OIP, you can make a meaningful investment in these transformative experiences. Thank you for supporting our Lion students on their exciting study-abroad adventures!
