A degree in counseling from East Texas A&M will place you on the path to becoming an effective counselor and prepare you for licensure. Our program will help you meet the needs of the counseling profession and gain the valuable knowledge you'll need as a clinician, school counselor, educator or practitioner in an ever-changing society.
Within the Department of Counseling, you can earn a M.S., M.Ed or Ph.D. in one of our programs accredited through the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Programs (CACREP). We also offer a bachelor's degree in human services and a graduate certificate in chemical dependency counseling.
