Join us for Admitted Student Day, and bring your family. Going to college is a major milestone, and we're here to celebrate this moment with you!

We invite you to return to campus with your fellow future lions to finalize important next steps, take another look at your future home away from home and get excited about the amazing fall we are planning for you. You've made it this far; we're here to cheer you on!

At Admitted Student Day:

  • Tour your residence hall and meet up with your future roommates.
  • Meet professors from your future academic college.
  • Load up on lion gear for Blue & Gold Wednesdays.
  • Attend the Registration Rally and complete all future Lion enrollment steps.

At Mane Event, our showcase provides a glimpse into the university experience. While here, you'll tour our Morris Recreation Center, residence halls and academic buildings. Meet with current students, faculty and staff as you discover the degree program that is perfect for you. Get your questions answered about financial aid, scholarships, the honors program, steps to enrollment, living on campus and much more!

  • 90-minute walking tours
  • Offered weekdays at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
  • Led by Lion Ambassadors – current students who share their individual experiences about A&M-Commerce and provide information that will help you make your college decision.

Advanced registration is required. After you schedule your visit, you will receive a confirmation email with additional details, including directions to campus and parking information.

Visitor Parking

If you plan to visit the McDowell Administration building, you can park for 30 minutes in front of the building. If you can stay longer, go by the cashier’s window just inside the front entrance of the McDowell Administration building for a complimentary visitor’s permit.

Texas Senate Bill 11 permits concealed carry of firearms in Texas A&M University-Commerce buildings only to persons who have been issued and are in possession of a Texas license-to-carry permit. Pursuant to pc 46.035 and A&M-Commerce rule 34.06.02.r1, permit holders may not carry in restricted locations. Please observe the temporary building and venue signage to comply with state law. Report violations to the University Police Department at 903.886.5868 or 911. View procedures for carrying concealed handguns on campus.
