Located in the Velma K. Waters Library, Suite 231, our mission is to further the education of our students and help foster financial responsibility in their lives. The Blue to Gold Money Management Center, or MMC, is here to serve any student who needs guidance regarding their financial health while in college. All Lions are welcome to our services.

Mission Statement

In addition to furthering the education of our students, we want to help foster financial responsibility in their lives. Allowing them the opportunity to discover their financial potential means they will be more likely to achieve their long-term goals throughout their educational, professional, and personal lives.

So, what’s a Money Coach?

Money coaching sessions are conducted in person or virtually by appointment; walk-ins are welcomed. Coaching over the phone is not an option. We aim to ensure each individual who walks into our office has the tools they need to succeed in the future.

Money Coaching sessions are conducted in-person, online and over the phone. Walk-ins are based on staff availability. All coaching sessions are confidential.

Money coaches are trained professionals who will work with you to foster financial stability, help you become more educated about finances and help you discover your economic potential, allowing you to achieve long-term goals in your educational, professional and personal life.

Money Coaches assist students in understanding their financial aid and student accounts while fostering healthy and responsible financial planning through earning, saving, budgeting, purchasing, spending and so much more through personal and confidential coaching sessions.

All students who need guidance regarding their financial wellness, help understanding financial aid or their student account, and those seeking general education about finances should schedule an appointment with a Money Coach at the Money Management Center.

Once an appointment has been scheduled, all students must complete a Financial Success Map to bring to their appointment.
