96 Named to Fall 2023 SLC Commissioner’s List

FRISCO – Ninety-six student-athletes from Texas A&M University-Commerce that compete in the sports of cross country, football, soccer, and volleyball, were named to the Fall 2024 Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

The football program led the way with 45 honorees, while the soccer team had 18, the volleyball program had 16, the men’s cross country program had 12, and the women’s cross country program had five.

In the fall semester, the athletic department posted a department cumulative grade point average of 3.08, while 13 of the 14 teams posted semester GPAs of 3.00 or higher.

The Southland Commissioner’s Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who maintain at least a 3.0 grade point average (GPA) in the semester of their respective sport.

In addition, eight student-athletes also earned Southland Conference All-Academic honors this fall.
