A&M-Commerce alum Eric Hale named one of two Dallas ISD Teachers of the Year

Dallas ISD teacher and A&M-Commerce alum Eric Hale was recently named one of the two Dallas ISD Teachers of the Year for 2019-20. Hale teaches at David G. Burnet Elementary School and received his master’s in education from A&M-Commerce. He had also received the Queen Smith Award in October 2019 as the nation’s top urban-area educator.
