A&M-Commerce Alum Hoover Featured in Texas Monthly Magazine

An article published in the June 2024 edition of Texas Monthly magazine highlights A&M-Commerce alum and best-selling author Colleen Hoover.

In it, Hoover provides insight into her meteoric rise to fame and the following scrutiny and criticism. Readers catch a glimpse of Hoover's life and her future as an author. While she has not released a new title since 2022, she is enjoying the break and anticipates publishing again.

“To financially get to a place where I can [quit writing] but then to never give my readers who got me there anything else? I just feel like I owe it to them,” she said in the article.

Hoover earned her bachelor's in social work from A&M-Commerce in 2004.
