A&M-Commerce Alum Named Dean at Chadron State College
Dr. Alaric Williams, former student and staff member at Texas A&M University-Commerce, has been named dean of professional studies and applied sciences at Chadron State College in Chadron, Nebraska. He will begin his duties on July 15.
Williams began his teaching career in 1999 in Greenville, Texas. He began working at A&M-Commerce in 2003 as an academic advisor and graduate teaching assistant. In 2008 he accepted a position as assistant professor of curriculum and instruction at Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas, where he was named program director in 2009 and served as vice president of the faculty senate. Williams moved to Arkansas Tech University in 2015 to serve as department head and professor of student affairs and head of the Center for Leadership and Learning.
