A&M-Commerce Alum Named General Manager of Texarkana Newspaper

James Bright, a 2010 graduate of A&M-Commerce, was recently named general manager and marketing director for the Texarkana Gazette, a daily newspaper in Texarkana, Arkansas. As an A&M-Commerce student, Bright served as editor of The East Texan, the student newspaper. Bright also worked as editor of the Rockwall Herald-Banner and as a publisher at two newspapers in Oklahoma.
