A&M-Commerce Alum Named to Board of Regents of Higher Education Institution
Texas A&M University-Commerce alum Troy Leland Walker was recently appointed by Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt to the Board of Regents of Eastern Oklahoma State College. Walker will serve a seven-year term beginning June 2, 2021. EOSC is a public community college located in Wilburton, Oklahoma. Walker has a long history at EOSC, serving as the school's Dean of Agriculture from 1987 to 2012, and has enjoyed a career of more than 40 years in agriculture education. He was also named to the EOSC Alumni Association Hall of Fame in 2016. He received a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Education from Oklahoma State University and a master's degree in Agronomy from A&M-Commerce.
