A&M-Commerce Alum Takes on Leadership Role at KISD

The Killeen Independent School District (KISD) recently announced its selection of A&M-Commerce alum Dr. Terri D. Osborne ('11, '14, '21) as the district's new deputy superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction and School Leadership.

Osborne has filled administrative roles in the Houston, Texas, area since 2018, including stops at Humble ISD and Aldine ISD. She officially stepped into the new role on Sept. 30.

“Dr. Osborne has a passion for student learning coupled with a wealth of school leadership experience and a background in various sized districts,” said KISD Superintendent Dr. Jo Ann Fey in the district's announcement. “She is poised to lead our Killeen ISD team of educators to accomplish our board-adopted priorities surrounding student success.”

Osborne is a three-time A&M-Commerce alum, earning a Master of Science in Higher Education in 2011, a Master of Education in Educational Administration with principal certification in 2014, and a doctorate in educational administration with superintendent certification in 2021.
