A&M-Commerce Celebrates Fall 2019 Commencement December 13 and 14
Texas A&M University-Commerce will hold its Fall 2019 Commencement Exercises on December 13th and 14th where 1,340 students will receive graduate and undergraduate degrees. Among the candidates, 291 will graduate with honors, 99 cum laude, 107 magna cum laude and 85 summa cum laude.

All ceremonies will be held in the University Field House at 1804 Lee Street, Commerce, Texas. Doors will open for guests one hour before the start of each ceremony. Innovations Rooms A and B and the Pride Room on the second floor of the Rayburn Student Center will accommodate overflow guests.
Dr. Ricardo Lopez, superintendent of schools for the Garland Independent School District, will deliver the commencement address at Friday's ceremony. Lopez earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at El Paso, a Master of Arts from New Mexico State University, and a doctorate in Educational Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
Dr. Shonda Gibson, associate vice chancellor for academic affairs for The Texas A&M University System, will deliver the commencement address at the 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. ceremonies on Saturday. Gibson earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences, a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Science in Psychology, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Psychology at A&M-Commerce.
Ms. June W. Davis, retired director of special programs for the Fort Worth Independent School District, will deliver the commencement address at the 2:30 p.m. ceremony on Saturday. Davis earned a bachelor's degree in sociology and psychology from A&M-Commerce and a Master of Education with mid-management certification in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M University-Texarkana.
