NSLS has over one million members nationwide divided into 706 chapters at colleges across the country.
“It is an honor to receive this award,” said Starnes. “The recognition inspires me to work hard each day as it affirms that my effort is appreciated and impactful.”
Before arriving at A&M-Commerce in 2005, Starnes taught at Texas Tech University and New Mexico State University. He was promoted to Associate Professor of Chemistry in 2013.
