A&M-Commerce Planetarium presents Dinosaur Passage to Pangaea

The Texas A&M University-Commerce Planetarium is presenting Dinosaur Passage to Pangaea through August 29 at 7pm.

The story follows two children who go back in time on a geological field trip. Their adventure takes them on a journey to learn about the processes that created our present-day continents whilst riding on dinosaurs and delving into the center of the Earth. This show is a truly educational experience about the tectonic forces that formed our world.

“We are very thankful for the collaborative efforts with the Center for Earth & Space Education (CESSE) facility at Tyler Junior College,” said assistant planetarium director Dr. Cheri Davis. “Tom Hooten, planetarium director for TJC, has graciously loaned their model of an Alioramus dinosaur.”

Visitors are invited to visit “Big Al”, a relative of the tyrannosaurus rex, who is on display in the lobby of the McFarland Science Building. The show will run through the end of the month with the final show being August 29. Tickets are $4 for children and A&M-Commerce students with an ID, $4.50 for senior citizens and A&M-Commerce faculty and staff with an ID, and $5 for adults.
