A&M-Commerce Ranks No. 20 for Best Online Graduate Programs
Texas A&M University-Commerce has ranked No. 20 in GraduatePrograms.com's list of Best Overall Online Graduate Programs.
Program rankings were compiled with data between September 1, 2012 and September 20, 2015. The data came from over 75,000 reviews from students participating in over 1,600 graduate programs around the country. The ratings are based on a 10 star system, with 10 being the best. The student rating for A&M-Commerce on the list was 8.75, compared to the school first on the list, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, sitting at a student rating of 9.55.
“This ranking validates what our graduate students already know about their individual experiences at A&M-Commerce, which is that our graduate programs provide 21st century knowledge with 125 years of student-friendly service based on the values of integrity, innovation, and imagination,” said Betty Block, associate provost and vice president of Academic Affairs. “Our nurturing environment and exceptional faculty and staff make it possible for students to reach their full potential while engaging with scholars all across an interconnected and dynamic world. It is no surprise that we rank among the top 20 for best overall graduate programs!”
Graduateprograms.com reaches current and recent graduate students through both scholarship entries and social media platforms. It assigns 15 different ranking categories to each graduate program at each graduate school. The rankings are determined by calculating the average score for each program based on the ranking categories, which are then compared across all ranked schools for that program and translated into a final ranking for that graduate program. Each graduate program is not ranked until a minimum amount of graduate student surveys are completed for that program.
