A&M System Regents vote to name campus memorial ‘Jones Circle’

The Board of Regents of the Texas A&M University System voted on February 6 to name the new memorial near Gee Library “Jones Circle.” The memorial was unveiled on October 26, 2019, and features a bronze likeness of a young Dr. Dan Jones, who served as president of Texas A&M University-Commerce from 2008 until his death in 2016. Jones Circle is located outside of the library’s south side.
