Athletic Director Participates on NCAA Panel
COMMERCE, Texas — Texas A&M University Commerce athletics has had its say in a big way.
A&M-Commerce athletic director Carlton Cooper was selected to participate in a panel during the NCAA Convention, held at the Gaylor National Hotel in Washington, D.C. The convention ran from Jan. 14-19.
Cooper presented “The Little Fish Can Swim with the Big Fish” at the Intersecting the Benefits of Corporate Partners and Marketing panel.
“Being selected for this panel is a tribute to our university and what we are doing as an athletic department,” he said. “By serving on this panel, I feel honored as it will be of great value to the membership of the entire NCAA community.”
Cooper used his experience at A&M-Commerce to educate the panel on how the university is influencing athletics on a local and national level.
