Career Development to Host Business Etiquette Dinner
The Career Development department will host a business etiquette dinner on Tuesday April 21 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the second floor of the Rayburn Student Center in rooms Innovation A and B.
“This is an event that will be filled with tips on proper etiquette,” said Assistant Director of Career Development Ashley Ortiz. “The business etiquette dinners always fill up quickly every semester. This will be an event that will be hands-on and enhance your professional skills.”
The purpose of the event is to teach proper business etiquette skills including how to confidently enter a room full of strangers, how to introduce yourself and properly shake hands and how to use utensils and dishes appropriately.
“Manners never go out of style,” said Director of Career Development Tina Boitnott. “Come learn how to conduct yourself over a business or interview dinner.”
The dinner will include a four course meal catered by Sodexo. Tickets for the event are $25 per person and pre-paid registration is required. For registration, visit: www.hirealion.com (Click Student). For more information about Career Development, visit: www.tamuc.edu/careerdevelopment.
