CFE partners with UTRWD
The College of Business Center for Business Excellence participated in a project for the Upper Trinity Regional Water District (UTRWD). The Project was managed and directed by Dr. Yasmin Atinc, faculty member in the Department of Marketing and Business Analytics and Dr. Brandon Randolph-Seng, faculty member in the Department of Management and Economics in collaboration with Frank M. Smith, CFE director. This project provided a great opportunity for College of Business students. Seven out of 80 students were selected as interns for the project after a rigorous interview process. UTRWD is developing a strategy to meet long-term water deficits in the UTRWD supply area. As part of its long-term strategy to consolidate and safeguard its market position, UTRWD requested assistance from CFE to conduct a market research analysis of businesses needed to support the construction of the $400M Lake Ralph Hall.
