Counseling Center Hosts DeStress Fest

The Texas A&M University-Commerce Counseling Center will host DeStress Fest on October 28 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

This year's event will be scavenger hunt based, involving four stations located across the campus. At each station, participants will learn different stress management tips and collect a card to show proof of their visit. After participants collect all four cards, they can receive a free t-shirt.

“We encourage students to take advantage of this opportunity and allow themselves some time to be in the moment; to put down their long to-do list just for a little while so they can be more energized and focused afterward,” said Agnes Gonzalez, outreach coordinator for the Counseling Center.
