Director of Athletics Tim McMurray Named Under Armour Athletics Director of the Year

The National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) named Tim McMurray, director of athletics at Texas A&M University-Commerce, as the Under Armour Athletics Director of the Year on March 3. The athletic directors who win the ADOY Award are recognized for their efforts and commitment to positive contributions toward student-athletes, campuses, and the surrounding communities. McMurray oversees a Division II intercollegiate athletic program that is committed to academic, athletic, and student success. He is also an adjunct professor in Sports Management at A&M-Commerce and teaches the capstone course in Sports Governance and Leadership. McMurray earned his master's in Sports Business Administration from Ohio University in 2013.
