East Texas A&M Announces Partnership with Nike, BSN SPORTS

East Texas A&M University has announced a multi-year partnership with Nike and BSN SPORTS. Nike, the Oregon-based global leader in sports apparel, will become the official outfitter of East Texas A&M beginning June 1, 2025.
In conjunction with the partnership with Nike, BSN SPORTS, the premier platform for team sports solutions, will serve as the official supplier of Lion Athletics uniform, apparel and footwear needs for the duration of the partnership.
“Our partnership with Nike and BSN Sports marks an exciting new chapter for East Texas A&M University. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to excellence, innovation, and the development of our student-athletes. Nike’s leadership in the world of sports aligns perfectly with our mission to provide a transformative educational experience, and we are thrilled to bring their cutting-edge technology and unparalleled support to our university,” said President Mark Rudin.
East Texas A&M becomes the only school currently in the Southland Conference to be outfitted by Nike, who will provide on-field and training apparel and equipment for all 14 intercollegiate sports.
“This is a monumental day in the history of Lion Athletics. The East Texas A&M brand is on the rise, and this partnership announcement is just another milestone in our journey to become one of the preeminent Division I FCS institutions in the country,” said Director of Athletics Jim Curry. “We are grateful to Nike and BSN SPORTS for their belief and investment in our vision for Lion Athletics and recognizing the growth and trajectory of the university as a whole. There is no better time than now to be associated with East Texas A&M.”
Across the state of Texas, East Texas A&M becomes the eighth Division I institution and just the second within Division I FCS to be outfitted by Nike.
On the cutting edge of design and innovation, East Texas A&M student-athletes will receive the latest styles that Nike has to offer, providing them with the opportunity to maximize their performance in and out of competition.
“This partnership brings a powerful combination of elite product selection and industry-leading service solutions to the athletes, coaches and community surrounding East Texas A&M athletics. BSN SPORTS is thrilled to help usher in the next chapter of Lion Athletics and support the University’s aspirations as a trusted provider and advisor for athletic uniform, apparel and equipment needs,” said Vice President of BSN SPORTS Collegiate Select Division, Todd Northrop.
More information on how fans can purchase officially licensed East Texas A&M Nike apparel will be announced later this year.
