East Texas A&M Professor Joins Educational Administration Group’s Executive Board

The Texas Council of Professors of Educational Administration (TCPEA) recently selected Dr. Sharon Ross, assistant professor of educational leadership, to serve on its executive board.

Ross joined the Department of Educational Leadership in 2022 after a 26-year career in education. Over an eight-year span, she served as superintendent at two school districts in Texas. Her research interests include superintendent leadership, women superintendents, rural school issues and mentoring, self-care and resilience.

TCPEA is committed to the practice and study of educational administration. The organization is an affiliate of the International Council of Professors of Educational Leadership (ICPEL). Established in 1947, ICPEL continues to serve the interests and needs of educational administration professors and practicing school leaders.
