East Texas State University Alumna Honored with Friend of Counseling Award

Dr. Sangeeta Singg, alumna of East Texas State University, now A&M-Commerce, was recently honored with the Jimmy Alvarez Friend of Counseling Award from Three Rivers Counseling Association. The award honors Singg for her “Outstanding Contribution to the Counseling Profession.” Singg received her master's and doctoral degrees in counseling psychology from ETSU. She has been a faculty member at Angelo State University since 1981, teaching undergraduate and graduate psychology classes. Singg also developed the university's graduate program in counseling psychology.
