The Global Fellow program was created to help prepare students for an interconnected world. The Texas A&M University-Commerce Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) committee is currently reviewing the applications and ePortfolios of Global Fellow candidates. This cohort will be the first group of Global Fellows to be selected and recognized since the university's Quality Enhancement Plan was approved.
“This truly exemplifies our commitment to the success of the QEP,” said Dr. Shonda Gibson, executive director of Global Learning and the Quality Enhancement Plan. “We are excited to recognize individuals who serve as role models in assisting students achieve a Global Scholar Status.”
President Dan R. Jones will recognize the selected Global Fellow(s) during the fall assembly with an honorary medallion. In addition, these candidates will be eligible to apply for internal support funding for assistance with global courses, global travel, global research and global events.
The Global Fellow Program helps to create and maintain a diversified and multi–disciplinary team with specialized global experiences and resources in an effort to improve A&M-Commerce students' global competence.
