Governor Names TAMUC Alumna Andrade to State Board
Texas Governor Greg Abbott recently appointed A&M-Commerce alumna Katie Andrade to the Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners for a term set to expire in 2027. The board regulates the practice of social work in Texas. The appointment is subject to Senate confirmation.
Andrade is a licensed master social worker at Titus Regional Medical Center in Mount Pleasant, Texas. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the National Society of Leadership and Success. She earned both her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in social work from A&M-Commerce.
