Graduate Council Elects New L.E.A.D. GA
The Graduate Council recently elected a new master's specialist for the Leadership Engagement and Development department (L.E.A.D.).
Adalyn Burger is a student in the Higher Education Administration program. Fall 2014 was Burger's first semester in the graduate program as well as her first semester as a graduate assistant in the L.E.A.D. department.
“I think it’s a wonderful opportunity and I count it as a privilege to be elected by my peers,” said Adalyn Burger. “I am excited to discover the needs and wants of the graduate population and to do my best to implement those changes on their behalf.”
With her new position, Burger's responsibilities will include planning the Extraordinary Leadership Series (ELS) and the Dare to Roar Program, while assisting in the planning of the Summer Leadership Summit and {I} Experience Leadership Retreat. She will also have involvement in other responsibilities related to graduate education while serving as a voting member of the Graduate Council.
“I think Adalyn is the woman of the job,” said the director of L.E.A.D. Danielle Davis. “She is dedicated and hardworking and I know she will represent the council in the best way.”
