Grayson College Enters Articulation Agreement with A&M-Commerce
Texas A&M University-Commerce signed an articulation agreement with Grayson College in Denison on November 14. The agreement allows students to begin their college careers at Grayson College before transferring seamlessly to A&M-Commerce.
The new articulation agreement offers Grayson students guaranteed admission to A&M-Commerce, under specific requirements. “We are a pathway college,” said Dr. Jeremy McMillen, president of Grayson College. “Some [students] are in programs to go directly into the workforce while others will continue their education. Our partnership with A&M-Commerce provides an excellent opportunity for those students who want to continue their education.”
The agreement also ensures that students will receive credit for the relevant courses they complete at Grayson College. As a result, Grayson students can feel confident that their hard work will transfer when they move to A&M-Commerce. According to A&M-Commerce President Mark Rudin, the goal is “no stranded credit hours.”
Grayson College is already a top transfer institution for A&M-Commerce, and university officials anticipate that the agreement will attract even more Grayson students to A&M-Commerce.
