H.T. Sanchez Nominated for National Superintendent of the Year

An A&M-Commerce alum, Dr. H.T. Sanchez, has been nominated for The School Superintendents' Association (AASA) 2022 National Superintendent of the Year award. The award winner will be announced and the nominees will be honored at AASA's National Conference on Education in February 2022.

In September 2021, Sanchez received the 2021 Texas Superintendent of the Year award from the Texas Association of School Boards.

Superintendent of the Plainview ISD since 2018, Sanchez has been involved with education for more than 23 years. He earned his doctorate in educational administration from A&M-Commerce in 2006.
