Ketr to Air Tribute to Mcfarlands July 17-19

COMMERCE, Texas – Public Radio 88.9 KETR will air a tribute to retiring Texas A&M University-Commerce President Keith McFarland and his wife, Nancy, this week.

The programs, set Thursday through Saturday, will feature interviews with the McFarlands, A&M-Commerce faculty, staff, and students, and Commerce residents.

The programs will air at 7 a.m., noon, 5 p.m., and 10 p.m. on both Thursday and Friday and at 4 p.m. Saturday.

McFarland will retire on Wednesday, July 16, after serving 10 years as A&M-Commerce president.

The new A&M-Commerce president, who starts Monday, July 21, is Dr. Dan Jones, who has served as provost, vice president of academic affairs, chief student affairs officer, and English professor at Texas A&M International University in Laredo.
