Letter from Dr. Rudin announcing online summer course schedule
Dear Lion Community,
Due to ongoing health concerns surrounding COVID-19, all May mini and summer courses at A&M-Commerce will be offered online. No classes will be conducted in a face-to-face format. All indications from the federal government, the state of Texas, The Texas A&M University System, and local authorities regarding COVID-19 lead us to believe this is the best decision. We are making this announcement now to ensure students and faculty are aware of the change from face-to-face to online instruction and allow time for planning.
The term dates are as follows:
- May Mini 2020 – May 11 – May 27
- Summer I 2020 – June 1 – July 2
- Summer II 2020 – July 6 – August 6
Students, your academic preparation and progression towards your degree is our priority. Despite the switch to all-online classes, we will continue to offer high quality education to keep you on track with your education and career goals. If you have any questions or concerns about summer courses, please contact your academic advisor or the Registrar's Office at [email protected].
At A&M-Commerce, our expertise in online education gives us an advantage. We are a national leader in online instruction, and we have years of experience delivering effective virtual instruction.
We understand that online learning may be challenging for our students in some situations, but please know that we are here to help you succeed. Our faculty and staff will continue to work closely with their students to provide the support they need to fully benefit from online instruction.
Thank you for your continued commitment to making this transition to online learning a success. Your positive, can-do attitude makes all the difference!
Let's have a productive summer, Lions!
Stay Healthy,
