Letter from Dr. Rudin regarding plan to open for the fall 2020 semester
Dear Lion Family,
Chancellor John Sharp has directed all Texas A&M University System schools to begin planning for the safe resumption of campus operations at the start of the fall 2020 semester.
Following the chancellor's directive, A&M-Commerce has assembled a committee comprised of faculty, staff and administrators to develop plans to be open and operational. We are committed to opening in a way that protects the health and well-being of our university community, while maintaining academic excellence. Details of the plan will be released as they are finalized.
Please note that final decisions about how and when the university will open rest with Governor Greg Abbott, the Board of Regents, and The Texas A&M University System.
Mark Rudin
