Lewisville ISD Names East Texas A&M Alum Executive Director of Special Education
The Lewisville ISD Board of Trustees recently appointed East Texas A&M alum Tina Clark as the district's new executive director of Special Education. Clark previously served as the district's director of Special Education in 2024.

Clark brings years of experience and education to the role. She served at Keller ISD from 2017-2024 and at Carroll ISD and Royse City ISD from 2011-2017.
“During my time as director, I have gained a deep appreciation for the dedication and talent within our district,” Clark said in the district's announcement. “I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to continue serving our students and families in this new capacity, and I’m eager to continue collaborating with stakeholders in our LISD community to build upon our successes and further elevate our special education program in service to our students.”
Clark earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at East Texas A&M (formerly Texas A&M-Commerce) in 2007 and returned to earn a specialization in school psychology in 2011. She's on track to complete her doctorate in special education from the University of North Texas in 2025.
Clark, a published scholar and researcher, also teaches psychology and special education courses as an adjunct instructor at East Texas A&M.
