Lion Athletics Holds Golf Fundraiser at Firewheel GC

The Texas A&M University-Commerce athletic department plans to host a golf tournament at Firewheel Golf Park in Garland. The proceeds of the tournament will benefit scholarships and facility enhancements for Lion Athletics.

The tournament is scheduled for August 1. Registration and lunch will begin at noon on Friday, and a shotgun start will take place at 1 p.m. Participation will include green fees, a cart, lunch and a reception/banquet to follow. Players will have the opportunity to purchase mulligans, win door prizes and bid on items available for purchase from Lion Athletics through a silent auction.
