Lion Football Inks 19 on National Signing Day

COMMERCE – Texas A&M University-Commerce head football coach David Bailiff has announced the Lions’ 2022 National Signing Day class, with 19 new Lions signing letters of intent on Wednesday.
The 19-player class is made up of 11 transfers and eight freshmen. Geographically, 16 hail from the Lone Star state and one each comes from California, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania.
Of the 11 transfers, six are from the Football Bowl Subdivision, two from the Football Championship Subdivision, one from Division II, and two from the junior college circuit.
This year’s class features 13 players on the offensive side of the ball and six on defense.
