Lion Football Reveals 2025 Schedule
The East Texas A&M University football team has revealed its 2025 schedule, which includes five home games on Ernest Hawkins Field at Memorial Stadium.
For the second year in a row, the Lions play 12 games during the 2025 season. This season, East Texas A&M is slated to play four non-conference games and then eight Southland Conference games.
Season Tickets on Sale Now
Reserved Chairback season tickets are now on sale for the 2025 season. All 2024 season ticket holders should have received an email on Tuesday with instructions on how to renew their season tickets.
Any season ticket holder who has issues renewing their season tickets should contact [email protected]. Season ticket prices remain the same as in the 2024 season.
More information on general admission season tickets and single-game tickets will be announced in the coming weeks.
2025 Schedule
The Lions begin the 2025 season close to home at SMU on August 30, which is also the first of two straight games at ACC opponents as the Lions play at Florida State on September 6, before an open week the following weekend.
East Texas A&M resumes action on September 20 at Grambling, facing the Tigers for the second year in a row.
The 2025 home opener comes on September 27 against North Carolina Central, which is also Family Weekend for the Lions. East Texas A&M and the Eagles are playing for the first time on the gridiron.
The first Southland Conference game of the season comes on October 4 at Northwestern State. The Lions won 42-21 over the Demons in Natchitoches last season.
The Lions return home to host Lamar on October 11, which is the first conference home game of the season and then head back on the road to play defending SLC champion UIW on October 18.
For the second straight year, SFA visits East Texas A&M. This year, it comes on October 25, which is also the homecoming game for the Lions. Last year, the Lions won 19-14 over the Lumberjacks at home.
The month of November begins at Southeastern on November 1 followed by a home game against McNeese on November 8. The Lions are 2-0 at home all-time against the Cowboys.
The final home game of the season comes on November 15 against HCU, as the Lions look to win over the Huskies at home for the second year in a row, after picking up a 41-40 win last season.
The Lions end the 2025 regular season with the first ever game against UTRGV on November 22. The Vaqueros begin their football program this season.
Game times for all 12 games will be released as available later this spring.
Blue & White Spring Game
The Lions begin spring practices next month and are hosting the annual spring game on April 12 at Ernest Hawkins Field.
