Atmos and A&M-Commerce Partner for Literacy Learning
In the West Dallas branch of the Dallas Public Library system, students are learning English. The neighborhood is largely comprised of Latino immigrants, and in this instance both parents and kids are in class — right across the hallway — improving their English literacy skills. The dual effort is part of the Atmos Energy Literacy Center, which opened in January as a partnership with A&M-Commerce.
