Men’s Track and Field Wins First Outdoor Championship in 48 Years and Ranks No. 1 in NCAA Division II
The Texas A&M University-Commerce men’s track and field team captured the program’s first Lone Star Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship in 48 years.
With the championship, the Lions have earned the sixth Lone Star Conference Title this athletic year, following football, men’s basketball, men’s indoor track and soccer's regular season and tournament championships.
For the first time in school history, the A&M-Commerce men’s track and field team is ranked No. 1 in all of Division II following the latest national poll conducted by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
