President’s Fall Assembly 2013

As President Dr. Dan Jones welcomed all faculty and staff members back to campus during his annual Fall Assembly, one message rang clear – continue serving the educational needs of our students.

Included in the president's agenda was the introduction of Texas A&M Commerce's new Provost and Vice-President of Student Affairs – Dr. Adolfo Benavides, campus updates from Vice-President of Business and Administration – Mr. Bob Brown, as well as a reaffirmation of accreditation briefing from Vice-President for Student Access and Success – Dr. Mary Hendrix.

Dr. Hendrix offered an update on the status of the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) and encouraged everyone to join in the university efforts to Prepare Students for an Interconnected World.  Along with a reminder of the upcoming SACSCOC visit in March of 2014, Dr. Hendrix extended an invitation to the audience to become involved in the ongoing development of the QEP.
