Recent TAMUC graduate receives NCAA Award

Acheil Tac, a recent Texas A&M University-Commerce graduate and founder of The Athlete's Advocate, was awarded the NCAA Legends Award during NCAA Women's Final Four. The Legends Award acknowledges and celebrates the determination of living legends who make a difference in and around their city. The honorees exemplify selflessness, strive for excellence and render extraordinary and valuable service within their local community. Candidates earning the award have had a major impact on athletics, gender equity, government, health and safety, higher education and/or social justice in their communities and field of work. Tac earned her Master of Business Administration degree from the A&M-Commerce College of Business in May 2023. Read more about the honor at the NCAA website.
