SACS COC Advisory Visit

In continuing preparation for the upcoming Reaffirmation of Accreditation, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACS COC) and our SACS Steering Committee and QEP Leadership Team participated in an Advisory Visit in July.  The SACS COC Vice-President met with A&M-Commerce representatives to explore issues, questions, and topics of interest relating to the reaffirmation process, interpretation of standards and clarifications of the Commission's policies and practices.  The Advisory Visit also included engaging discussion of the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), providing guidance in the continued development of this plan.  The Advisory Visit serves as an important milestone as the A&M-Commerce community continues the reaffirmation review process, which will culminate with the SACS On-Site Team visit In March of 2014.
